Parking: Le Méridien has a secure garage, but if you are visiting Split Old Town, we recommend parking at the Sukoišan or Žnjan lots to avoid the congested city core. Trogir has a large car park just before the island bridge.
Quick Escape: From Podstrana, use the upper road through Žrnovnica to reach the A1 motorway and avoid the main coastal D8 traffic during July and August. This saves 15–20 minutes on busy days.
Ferry Tip: The Split–Supetar (Brač) and Split–Stari Grad (Hvar) car ferries fill up fast in summer. Book vehicle space at least one week in advance on the Jadrolinija website.

Le Méridien Lav sits directly on the D8 coastal road in Podstrana, making it easy to head in either direction. For Split Old Town (15 min), follow D8 northwest — but avoid the coastal route between 10 AM and 6 PM in July–August when traffic is heaviest. Instead, take the upper road through Žrnovnica to reach the A1 motorway interchange at Dugopolje, which also gives faster access to Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Krka, and Plitvice. The hotel has its own secure parking garage. When visiting Split Old Town, park at Sukoišan or Žnjan — street parking near Diocletian's Palace is expensive and hard to find.
