Renting a car in Croatia can enhance your travel experience and give you the flexibility to explore the country at your own pace. Here's what you need to prepare.
Driver's Licence and ID Document
You must have a valid driver's licence. In most cases, your regular licence from your home country is sufficient. However, if your licence is not in Roman alphabet characters (e.g. Cyrillic, Arabic), you will need an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your regular licence.
You'll also need a valid form of identification, such as a passport or national ID card.
Credit or Debit Card
If you hire a car with Start or Medium insurance, a credit card is required for security purposes. The credit card covers the rental excess fee and any additional charges during the rental period.
Debit cards are accepted only with Premium insurance, as the excess fee is reduced to 0.00 EUR with this coverage.
Reservation Confirmation (Optional)
If you've made a reservation online or through a travel agency, bring your rental voucher or reservation confirmation number. While not mandatory, it can significantly speed up the pickup process.
Whether you're booking online, by phone, or visiting our office directly, our rental staff will provide you with all the relevant information for a smooth experience.
