Our Zagreb Centre office is conveniently located in the heart of Croatia's capital, making it the perfect starting point for exploring Zagreb and the wider continental Croatia region. Zagreb is a city of contrasts — its Austro-Hungarian lower town (Donji Grad) is a grid of elegant 19th-century boulevards, grand museums, and green squares, while the medieval upper town (Gornji Grad) perches on a ridge above, connected by the world's shortest funicular railway.

The city is far more than a stopover destination. Zagreb has excellent restaurants serving both modern Croatian cuisine and traditional dishes like štrukli (cheese pastry), a thriving craft beer and coffee culture, and some of Croatia's most important museums — including the Museum of Broken Relationships, which began as a concept in Zagreb before travelling the world. The Dolač outdoor market above the main square is one of Europe's most colourful morning markets.

With a rental car from our Zagreb Centre office, all of Croatia opens up before you. The A1 motorway south takes you to Plitvice Lakes (2 hours), Split (4 hours), and Dubrovnik (6 hours). Heading east on the A3 motorway leads to Slavonia and its oak forests, while the A2 north reaches Slovenia and Austria. For day trips, the baroque city of Varaždin (80 km), the castle town of Samobor (25 km), and the Zagorje castles are all easily reachable.
