The Stradun, the main limestone-paved street, is the social heart of the city.
Having a car in Dubrovnik opens up the broader region beautifully. When driving the D8 coastal road south towards Cavtat or Montenegro, be prepared for narrow sections and sharp turns along the beautiful shoreline.
